Fire Instructor II is designed to meet the needs of entry-level fire and emergency service instructors by meeting or exceeding the job performance requirements in National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1041, Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications.
Upon completion of this course the student will be eligible to submit for certification by the Texas State Firemans’ and Fire Marhsalls’ Association (SFFMA) as a Fire Instructor II.
Schedule: February 1 – March 1, 2020
Skills Day Time: 0800 – 1700, March 1, 2020
Location: Bastrop, TX
Course maximum is 30 students. All others will be placed on a waiting list.
All materials provided with registration.
Students will need a laptop or tablet for this course.

**Once registered for this course, refunds will only be issued if registrations are cancelled with at least 48 hours advanced notice before first day of class, or if the Agency Chief/Head contacts the Director & Chief of Texas Public Service Training Academy before the start of the first day of training and verifies an emergency circumstance occurred that requires the registrant to drop from the course
