Enroll today in this fast pace and exciting training opportunity. Upon successful course completion you will be eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Examination. Once you have passed this exam you may apply for Texas Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician.

CAREER TRAINING AND JOB PLACEMENT
This course will training the student on all Basic Life Support functions of the Emergency Medical Technician. Each student will participate in 48 hours of Clinical/Field Internship training with local hospital and EMS partner agencies. During these rotations students may be selected by a partner agency for a job interview. At the end of the course our partner agencies will conduct a recruiting fair and students will have an opportunity to learn more about different careers in EMS.
COURSE INFORMATION
Class will be from 6-10 pm on Monday and Wednesday evenings and 8 am to 5 pm every other Saturday.
Class will be held in Bastrop County at the Heart of the Pines Fire Station #1 at 670 Cottletown Rd., Smithville, TX 78957

*class registered students must request withdrawal no less than 48 hours prior to the beginning of class. Students who fail to notify the EMS Program Director of withdrawal request 48 hours or more prior to the beginning of the first day of class will not receive a refund of tuition with exception to certain verifiable emergencies, subject to the discretion of the EMS Program Director.
