Materials: Provided and included with tuition.

Students will be provided with ebook and online access to flash cards, quizzes, tests, videos and more.

Course Details: This course is designed to teach a person basic emergency medical care at the EMR/ECA level and be able to sit for the National Registry Examination for EMR.

In order to obtain state licensure, all students must pass the National Registry Examination, then apply for state licensure through the Texas Department of State Health services. The associated cost with this is outlined below.

NREMT Exam Fee – $75

TDSHS License Fee – $64  (No Cost for Volunteers or Uniformed Services Veterans)

Skills Day: Skills will be conducted on site or approved location based on weather and terrain features.

 

**Once registered for this course, refunds will only be issued when courses are cancelled with at least 48 hours notice, or if the Agency Chief/Head contacts the Director & Chief of Texas Public Service Training Academy before the start of the first day of training and verifies an emergency circumstance occurred that requires the registrant to drop from the course.
