This course meets the requirements for the Texas Private Security Board, as governed by the Texas Department of Public Safety. The student will learn level II security officer duties and responsibilities in a distance learning training environment. The student complete all components of the online training course to receive a certificate of completion. 

Upon successful completion of this program the student will be able to submit for licensure by the TX Private Security Board though the TX Department of Public Safety as a Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer. The student must meet all requirements set forth by Texas DPS-PSB in order to be awarded licensure. Separately the student must affiliate with a licensed security company in order to receive a pocket card after licensure is approved. 

Students will have a maximum of 30 days after enrollment to complete this training course. Failure to complete the course in the specified time will result in termination of enrollment and forfeiture of tuition. 

**Once registered for this course, refunds will only be issued if registrations are cancelled if written documentation of a death or serious illness/injury is provided, or if the Agency Chief/Head contacts the Director & Chief of Texas Public Service Training Academy before the start of the first day of training and verifies an emergency circumstance occurred that requires the registrant to drop from the course.
