Fire Officer I is designed to meet the needs of entry-level fire and emergency service leaders by meeting or exceeding the job performance requirements in National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 921: Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations (NFPA) 1021: Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications.

Upon completion of this course the student will be eligible to Test an approved testing site for TCFP Fire Officer I and/or submit for certification by the Texas State Firefighters’ and Fire Marhsall’s Association (SFFMA) as Fire Officer I.

This course is 40 hours in length and will be completed over the course of 4 days.
Schedule: November 29th – December 2nd (Tuesday-Friday)
Times: 0800-1700
Location: Bastrop, TX
Course maximum is 20 students. All others will be placed on a waiting list.
All materials are provided with registration.
Students will need a laptop or tablet for this course.

**Once registered for this course, refunds will only be issued if registrations are cancelled with at least 48 hours advanced notice before first day of class, or if the Agency Chief/Head contacts the Director & Chief of Texas Public Safety Training Academy before the start of the first day of training and verifies an emergency circumstance occurred that requires the registrant to drop from the course
